SHEQ Madotta has received accreditation from the QCTO for First Aid Training on 2025 05 17; this means that we may present First Aid Training for qualification purposes. (not for legal compliance)
Legislation however states
- Department of Employment and Labour (DEL) Accreditation:
- Training providers must apply to the DEL and meet the criteria set out in the General Safety Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) No. 85 of 1993.
- Providers are required to follow the curricula for First Aid Levels 1, 2, and 3, as defined by the DEL standards.
- Trainers must possess recognized qualifications, and the training must include both theoretical and practical components.
- We have applied for DEL accreditation and were approved during the site visit. Now we need to wait for the Chief Inspector to sign our accreditation.
- Expected date when we will receive the Inspector number (accreditation)- before the end of the year.
So in a nutshell, keep us in mind when you do your planning for next year’s First Aid Training.
